Re: 6/2/26 @ 7 pm Town Council Meeting:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION OF DISCREPANCIES & LACK OF, that need to be addressed in the way this Cat in a Hat Town has been governing, in this day and age.

A serious talk needs to be put forth in restoring faith in a path forward, given the actions or non-actions by those who hold titles into the direction and policies being set in place.

Time is not on the side of wisdom when large amounts of documents need to be reviewed in such Agenda Items. Some of importance need to have reasonable time to sort through them ..

Example- this scheduled meeting was placed on the town website after 8 pm on Thursday May 28, 2026 in which a large volume of information is required to pass the PUBLIC EYE … (test.. a 3- day rule) as government bodies sneak items buy and … people complain .. blah, blah blah …

#2. Ratify the Town Council Selection Committee’s Recommended Youth Commissioner Appointments - Recommend they MUST have a note from their Mother. ___________________________
#3. Adopt a Resolution Calling the November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election for Three Town Council Members in the Town of Los Gatos, Requesting Consolidation with the Statewide General Election and Specified Election Services from the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, and Adopting Regulations Pertaining to Candidate Filing Fees, Candidate Statements, and Tie Vote Procedures - CAN A “MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC” who wants to remain anonymous run?

#5 Authorize the Town Manager to Execute a First Amendment to Agreement for On-Call Arborist Services With Dudek, Increasing Compensation by $58,000 for a Total Not-to-Exceed Amount of $157,000 ??
Questions1. What is the base service salary, as this is an increase of $58,000?

2. How many times did this on-call Arborist have to respond to after hour calls?

3. Given location that Dudek’s Oakland office has three full-time arborists available to support the town with on-call services, so what is the response time in an emergency, given that these “Arborist” should not be risking their lives ?? I mean what?… can’t the town find a scarecrow, cowardly lion, and tin man from the Forest of Gugu?

1. Can’t the Town train Public work maintenance personal to cut down trees, as they should be on call as part of their job description, or form another commission, as the planning commission has engaged in such subject matter as permits and codes go.. to plants and trees.

1. WHY IS SO MUCH GOING INTO FIRE RELATED.. Saratoga does not waist millions of dollars… This Jeremy Cawn is a Fire Prevention Planner, and the Town hired an Emergency Manager, and people that own property in this town are charged for property taxes which the town receives 9.3 cents and the County Fire Protection District receives 13.2 cents (page C-32) for emergency fire issues! WHY! “Y!” “Y!” Also the town was informed of a non- profit group way back when the Emergency Manager position opened up and this person spoke right after, I believe this could save the town millions of dollars.. (this could be for Budget AGENDA ITEM #10 also) She spoke at NUMU and her presentation is on video with the museum. She works with county fire and other agencies.. and with homeowners in the Santa Cruz Mountains, as a non government person that tries to reduce wildfires and forest management without threats of code violations and government regulations.

#6. Authorize the Town Manager to Execute a Five Year Agreement with Accela, Inc. for Accela Civic Platform Subscription Services, Maintenance and Support, and OpenCounter Implementation Services, Including the Public Permitting Portal Migration, in an Amount Not to Exceed $839,305, Subject to Annual Appropriation of Funds. ….. AND #7. Authorize the Town Manager to Execute Agreements for Building Division Plan Check Review and Other Support Services with 4LEAF, Inc., O’Brien Code Consulting, Inc., and Urban37, Inc.

THESE ARE UNDERINSURED… Danger for Town .. needed - 10 million dollar umbrella policy.
________________
#9. Approve the Accounts Payable and Payroll Reports - If TOWN COUNCIL has not even taken a close look at the Town Budget for discrepancies as to being good Stewart’s of Town resources, why question a report that has no oversight ??. Have the Finance commission approve this first,
Maybe say, Please … nobody but me have their hands in the cookie jar.

Respectfully and Playfully Submitted
