01. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council Regular Meeting of the City of Lynwood met in the Council Chambers, 11350 Bullis Road Lynwood, CA 90262 on the above date at 6:00 p.m. An audio recording of this meeting is available on the City's Web Portal: Audio (laserfiche.com).
Meeting called to order at 6:04 p.m.
Madam City Clerk Quinonez presiding.
Madam City Clerk Quinonez opened the City Council Regular Meeting, stating the date was August 6 and it was 6:04 p.m. She announced the following statement:
As the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, I would like to make a notice that the agendas for all meetings scheduled for today, which includes the Regular Lynwood City Council, the Lynwood Successor Agency, the Lynwood Housing Authority and the Lynwood Public Financing Authority are being continued to a meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Thank you.
City Attorney Tapia identified himself and stated for the record that the City Council meeting scheduled today is being continued to tomorrow August 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. to run concurrently with a special meeting which the City Council called for to address a notice of withdrawal that was submitted to the City Clerk's Office on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at approximately 4:00 p.m. which related to the Hospital Tax Initiative. Therefore, we are to consolidate those meetings tomorrow night August 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
City Attorney Tapia additionally noted the meeting scheduled tonight does not have a quorum of the City Council Members and subsequently, the meetings will be continued to tomorrow night Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Thank you.

The Regular Lynwood City Council Meeting was ordered to be continued to Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
