CALL TO ORDER: Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Councilmember Anita Evans, District 4

Others present were City Manager Arnoldo Rodriguez, City Clerk Alicia Gonzales, City Attorney Shannon L. Chaffin, City Engineer Keith Helmuth, Deputy City Engineer Ellen Bitter, and Senior Civil Engineer Jonathan Gramajo.

ON MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER EVANS AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER VILLEGAS, THE AGENDA WAS APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY BY A 7/0 VOTE.

A-1 Granting an Easement Deed, offered by the City of Madera to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and Authorizing the City Clerk to Execute and Cause to Be Recorded the Granting of Said Easement (East of 1030 S. Gateway Drive) Recommendation: Approve a Resolution:
1. Granting the Easement Deed to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E); and
2. Authorizing the City Clerk to Execute the Grant of Easement for Said Deed and Cause it to be Recorded (Report by Keith Helmuth)
ON MOTION BY MAYOR PRO TEM RODRIGUEZ AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER EVANS, ITEM A-1 WAS APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY BY A 7/0 VOTE.
RES 25-213 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MADERA,
CALIFORNIA GRANTING PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY (PG&E) AN EASEMENT DEED (EAST SIDE OF 1030 SOUTH GATEWAY DRIVE) B. PETITIONS, BIDS, RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES, AND AGREEMENTS:
B-1 Water Main Replacement Project, City Project No. W-43 Rebid Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution approving the contract award for the Water Main Replacement Project City Project No. W-43 Rebid in the amount of $4,970,222 to Rolfe Construction Inc., authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement as needed in an amount not to exceed a contingency of 20 percent, and adopt a Categorical Exemption pe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 1530 (Replacement or Reconstruction) (Report by Keith Helmuth)
ON MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER EVANS AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER VILLEGAS, ITEM A-1 WAS APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY BY A 7/0 VOTE.

CONSTRUCTION CONTINGENCIES RELATING TO THE CONTRACT
