The California Coastal Commission went further in approving Malibu's Local Coastal Program Amendment limiting all pesticides (rodenticides, herbicides, and insecticides) in May 2021. A major component specified by the Coastal Commission was an education component to alert citizens and commercial interests of the restrictions and to publicize better solutions. We are deeply involved in this effort. We are asking for support for our continuing campaign to educate the public, businesses, and government to not use these poisons.
