MEETING CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro Tem Riggins called the meating to order at 10:00 am.
ROLL CALL
The following persons were recorded in attendance by the Recording Secretary:
PRESENT: Mayor Pro Tem Marianne Riggins; and Councilmembers Haylynn Conrad (arrived at 10:02 a.m.), Bruce Silverstein and Steve Uhring.
AB SENT: Mayor Doug Stewart
ALSO PRESENT: Kellan Martz, Assistant City Attorney; Alexis Brown, Deputy City Manager; Christina Munoz, Deputy City Clerk; Jason Lawerence, Deputy City Clerk; and Parker Davis, Media Technician
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Deputy City Manager Brown led the Pledge 0f Allegiance.
REPORT ON POSTING OF AGENDA
Deputy City Clerk Munoz reported that the agenda for the meeting was properly posted on March 10, 2025.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION Councilmember Uhring moved, and Councilmember Silverstein seconded a motion to approve the agenda. The question was called, and the motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Pro Tern Riggins opened the floor to public comment.

At 10:02 a.m., the Council recessed t0 Closed Session to discuss the following items listed on the Closed Session agenda:
Conference with Legal Counsel — Existing litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1):
1. Case Name: City’s Petition to Form Malibu USD from Territory in the Santa Monica-Malibu USD
The Council reconvened at 10:58 a.m. with Councilmembers Conrad, Silverstein, and Uhring, and Mayor Pro Tem Riggins present.
CLOSED SESSION REPORT
Assistant City Attorney Martz reported that the meeting convened at 10:00 a.m., after which time the City Council recessed to a Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), with all Councilmembers Conrad, Silverstein, and Uhring, and Mayor Pro Tem Riggins present. He stated the Council discussed the item on the Closed Session agenda and took no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Pro Tem Riggins adjourned the meeting at 10:59 am.
