STRATEGIC PLAN IMPLEMENTATION: This item supports the City’s 2025 Strategic Plan Goal 1: Support Community Rebuilding and Long-Term Recovery and Goal, Goal 2: Drive Economic Recovery and Restore Lost Revenue, and Goal 3: Advance Infrastructure Resilience. Projects supporting these goals include Dark Sky Ordinance implementation, Clean Power Alliance, Coastal Vulnerability Assessment, Clean Water, Solid Waste Management, and compliance with State and Regional requirements. Other environmental programs are part of normal operations.
DISCUSSION: The Environmental Programs staff will provide a presentation that will detail the City’s environmental program activities, including energy, water conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, coastal, and events and outreach.
