Town Council Special Meeting - May 08, 2023
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 437 Old Mammoth Road, Suite Z, Mammoth Lakes.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wentworth led the flag salute.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Patricia Robertson, Executive Director of Mammoth Lakes Housing, gave an update regarding the use of the Town's emergency funding for housing for displaced persons.

Assistant to the Town Manager Pam Kobylarz outlined the information in the staff report.
Kendra Knight, Mammoth Disposal Sustainability Coordinator, outlined her current work program regarding current mandates related to recycling.
Laura Patten, Keep Tahoe Blue, spoke about their education and outreach efforts.
There was discussion among members of Council, staff, Ms. Knight, and Ms. Patten regarding the discussion questions.

Mayor Pro Tem Sauser attended the Local Transportation Commission meeting.
Councilmember Bubser attended the Town/County Liaison Committee meeting.
Councilmember Rea attended the Mammoth Lakes Recreation Board meeting.
Mayor Wentworth attended the Eastern Sierra Council of Governments meeting, spoke at the California Association of Environmental Professionals, and attended the Sierra Nevada Thirty by Thirty meeting.
6. REPORTS FROM COMMISSIONS AND/OR DEPARTMENTS (AS NEEDED) There were no reports given at this time.
7. CLOSED SESSION
7.1 Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6.(a), Conference with Labor Negotiators, the Council will meet with its representatives, Town Manager Daniel C. Holler, Administrative Services/Finance Director Rob Patterson, Community and Economic Development At 5:53 p.m. the Mayor announced that the Council would be entering into closed session for the purposes as stated in the agenda.
8. ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACTION TAKEN AFTER CLOSED SESSION
The Council reconvened from closes session at 6:14 p.m. and announced that there was no reportable action taken.
9. ADJOURNMENT
The Council adjourned the meeting at 6:14 p.m.
