A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO CT&T
CONCRETE PAVING, INC. FOR THE CITYWIDE CONCRETE
REPAIRS CYCLE 1 (FY21 -22) PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL WORK, IF
NECESSARY; AND APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THE CITYWIDE CONCRETE REPAIRS CYCLE 1 (FY21 -22)
PROJECT
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and CT&T Concrete Paving, Inc. (“Contractor”), dated January 18, 2022 , for the Citywide Concrete Repairs Cycle 1 (FY21-22) Project (“Project”), in the amount of $208,250.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs t he City Manager to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager to pay the Contractor up to an additional $41,750 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
