A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH AND SPECTRUM
ENTERPRISE FOR DARK FIBER MAINTENANCE
SERVICES
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Manhattan Beach Municipal Code 2.36.140, the City Council hereby waives the purchasing procedures due to the potential of substantial cost increase for switching providers associated with a new fiber build-out in addition to the licensing and support fees.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the five-year Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and Spectrum Enterprise, effective on the last date of agreement’s execution, for dark fiber maintenance services in the total amount of $228,900.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
