RESOLUTION NO. 22-0072
A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH, THE MANHATTAN BEACH
PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION (“ASSOCIATION”)
AND THE FRIENDS OF SENIOR & SCOUT COMMUNITY
CENTER, UNDER WHICH THE ASSOCIATION WILL
DONATE $800,000 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE SENIOR
& SCOUT COMMUNITY CENTER
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach, the Friends Of Senior & Scout Community Center , and the Manhattan Beach Property Owners Association (“Association”) dated May 17, 2022, under which the Association will donate $800,000 for construction of the Senior and Scout Community Center.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
