A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH AND HANSON
BRIDGETT, LLP FOR CONDUCTING INDEPENDENT
ADMINISTRATIVE INVESTIGATIONS OF CONFIDENTIAL
PERSONNEL MATTERS, AND APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM
THE UNRESERVED GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR THE
INVESTIGATIONS
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and Hanson Bridgett, LLP dated September 6, 2022 , to increase the maximum compensation of the Agreement to $145,000.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The Co uncil hereby appropriates $50,000 from the unreserved General Fund balance to accommodate the volume of administrative investigations currently in process and anticipated for the current fiscal year.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage a nd adoption of this resolution.
