4-Way Stop Sign for Pacific Avenue
and 18th Street
Requested by Concerned Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Residents Pacific/18th Is The Only Intersection Between Ardmore and MBB With No 4-Way Stop!
Pacific/18th Is Only One Block From American Martyrs and Pacific Schools!
Our Petition Shows Strong Neighbor Support For This 4-Way Stop 24 Residents, Representing 24 Homes – Does Not Include Parents Walking Children To School Who Don’t Live On Our Blocks
My Recent Motivation For Seeking This 4-Way Stop
• Having lived on this corner for over 30 years, my wife and I constantly hear the screech of near accidents and the screech and thump of accidents with damage to one or both cars.
• In fact, on Friday, March 11th of this year, at approximately 1:45 PM, there was a car accident on our corner, with an injury to one of the parties involved, a senior citizen - see Manhattan Beach PD incident #715-T.
The Time To Approve This 4-Way Stop Is Now!
• Pacific Elementary School starts 2022-23 school year on August 24th
• Pacific Pre-School starts 2022-23 school year on August 25th • American Martyrs Pre-School starts 2022-23 school year on August 22nd
• American Martyrs Elementary School starts 2022-23 school year on August 24th

Hi,
I live on 18th street and received the orange notice. I approve stop signs being put at this intersection. It is a great idea, thank you.

Dear Mr. Zandvliet,
Please recommend City Council approves the addition of stop signs at Pacific Ave & 18th St.
As you are aware , Pacific Ave
is an extremely
busy street in addition
every
intersection on Pacific from
MB
Blvd. to Rosecrans
is a
four way stop .. for
good reason… we need one at this intersection as well! It’s well overdue.
Thank you ,
Heidi Rayden Tobias
