A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN
BEACH AND CONTEMPORARY SERVICES
CORPORATION FOR UNARMED GUARD SERVICES
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY R ESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and Contemporary S ervices Corporation dated September 1, 2020, for unarmed guard services in the amount of $1,770,000.
SECTION 2. The City Council has made findings to determine it is in the best interest of the City to waive formal bidding per Manhattan Beach Municipal Code (MBMC) Section 2.36.140 (waivers).
SECTION 3. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute t he Amendment on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
