AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH AND UNIFIRST CORPORATION
This Second Amendment (“Amendment No. 2”) to that certain agreement by and between the City of Manhattan Beach, a California municipal corporation (“City”) and Unifirst Corporation, a Massachusetts corporation (“Contractor”) (collectively, the “Parties”) is hereby entered into as of October 18, 2022 (“Effective Date”).
RECITALS
A. On September 19, 2018 , the City and Contractor entered into an agreement for uniform and safety mat services (“Agreement”) , which the Parties subsequently amended to extend the term through September 18, 2024 (“Amendment No. 1”).
B. The Parties now desire to further amend the Agreement to modify the provisions governing the Contractor’s compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the Parties’ performance of the promises, covenants, and conditions stated herein, the Parties hereby agree as follows:
Section 1. Section 7 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows. “7. Compensation. In consideration of the services rendered hereunder, City shall pay Contractor a fee in accordance with the prices submitted in Exhibit B.”
Section 2. Except as specifically amended by Amendment No. 2, all other provisions of the Agreement (as previously modified by Amendment No. 1) shall remain in full force and effect.
