A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN
BEACH AND MERRIMAC PETROLEUM, INC. ,
EXTENDING THE TERM TO DECEMBER 5, 2023 AND
INCREASING THE NOT -TO-EXCEED AMOUNT TO
$540,000
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and Merrimac Petroleum, Inc., dba Merrimac Energy Group, dated Oc tober 20, 2022 , e xtending the term to December 5, 2023 and increasing the not -to-exceed amount from $290,000 to $540,000 for the extended term.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
