|This is a one time tent permit for a fundraising event that will be taking place on Saturday April 30th, 2022 |at American Mlartyrs School, 1701 Laurel Ave, Manhattan Beach from 5pm to 11pm. [Please adhere to the following requirements:
|1. Provide a minimum rated 2A:10BC fire extinguisher every 75 ft. |2. Smoking is not permitted in tents and "no smoking" signs shall be posted conspicuously. |3. Exits shall be clearly marked and installed at required exit doorways and where otherwise necessary to [indicate clearly the direction of travel.
|4. Means of egress illumination shall be provided. Power for these devices shall be provided from two [separate circuits, one of which shall be separate from all other circuits for occupant loads of 300 or less. For occupancy loads in excess of 300, an emergency power source [shall be provided by batteries, on-site generator, etc.
5. A minimum of 3 exits are required with a minimum width of 72 inches each.
6. Aisles shall not be less than 44 inches wide.
7. Maintain fire access roads no less than 20 ft. wide.
8. Tents cannot be located within 20 ft. of a lot lines, buildings, or parked vehicles.
9. No cooking allowed in tents.
10. Cooking operations that include a deep fat fryer shall provide a portable Class K wet chemical extinguisher and a minimum 2A:10BC fire extinguisher shall also be provided.
11. Generators shall be installed not less than 10 ft. from combustible materials and shall be isolated from the public by a physical guard or fence. Each generator area must be provided with at least one 2A:10BC rated fire extinguisher.
12. All compressed gas cylinders must be secured to prevent from falling.
