A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO CROSSTOWN
ELECTRICAL & DATA , INC. FOR THE MARINE AVENUE AT
CEDAR AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND INTERSECTION
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; APPROVING THE PLANS AN D
SPECIFICATIONS; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
AND/OR HIS OR HER DESIGNEE TO APPROV E ADDITIONAL
WORK, IF NECESSARY
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and Crosstown Electrical & Data, Inc . (“Contractor”), dated December 6 , 2022 , for the Marine Avenue at Cedar Avenue Traffic Signal and Intersection Improvements Project (“Project”), in the amount of $311,963.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs t he City Manager to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager and/or his or her designee to pa y Contractor up to an additional $ 77,990 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
