City Manager Bruce Moe announced the following Closed Session:

II. RECESS INTO CLOSED SESSION
At 3:06 PM, the City Council recessed into Closed Session.
III. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION
At 4:14 PM, the City Council reconvened into Open Session with all City Councilmembers present.
IV. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT IN OPEN SESSION
City Attorney Barrow announced that the City Council recessed into Closed Session to discuss the three pieces of litigation identified on the agenda. With respect to the Kaufman and Drum cases, the City Council gave direction by a 5-0 vote to Special Counsel. With respect to the third item, the City Council gave direction to Special Counsel by a 4-1 vote, with Mayor Pro Tem Montgomery voting “No”. There was no other reportable action taken.
City Attorney Barrow responded to City Council questions and clarified his announcement.
