A RESOLUTION NUNC PRO TUNC OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL CORRECTING THE AMOUNT INDICATED IN SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-0003 FOR ADDITIONAL WORK ON THE SLURRY
SEAL PROJECT ENCOMPASSING THE NORTH AREA OF THE SAND
SECTION, IF NECESSARY
RECITALS
A. On January 17, 2023, the Manhattan Beach City Council approved Resolution 23 -0003, approving an agreement between Manhattan Beach and Pavement Coatings Co. for the Slurry Seal Project encompassing the north area of the Sand Section.
B. Due to a clerical error, Section 3 of Resolution 23-0003 contains an incorrect amount authorized by the Council to pay Contractor for additional work, if necessary.
C. Both the staff report and the Budget Expenditure Summary Report attached to the staff report contain the correct amount: $204,138.
D. Accordingly, the City Council wants to amend Section 3 of Resolution No. 23-0003 by inserting the correct amount of $204,138.
NOW THEREFORE, THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends Section 3 of Resolution No. 23-0003 by inserting the correct amount of $204,138.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
