SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
SECTION 2. Due to delays caused by the COVID -19 Pandemic in initiating the repair work efforts on the proposed streets adopted on April 20, 2020 and April 20, 2021 , and the long bidding and rebidding process due to inflation and increas ed bidding prices, the following previously proposed and adopted projects from fiscal years 2021 -2022 may also utilize fiscal year 2023 - 2024 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) revenues . The Capital Improvement Plan Budget will utilize fundi ng in the approximate amount of $876,876 from the fiscal year 202 3-2024 RMRA revenues funded by Senate Bill 1. The City intends to reconstruct or resurface these streets by milling the top 2-inches of the existing asphalt concrete, repairing the base struc ture in select locations, and overlaying the streets with two inches of rubberized asphalt concrete where applicable. Where necessary, repairs to curbs and gutters and installation/upgrades of Americans with Disabilities (ADA) curb ramps improvements will also be constructed.
