A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING A FUNDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LOS
ANGELES METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
AND CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH FOR A MEASURE M GRANT
AWARD FOR THE MANHATTAN BEACH BOULEVARD AT
PACIFIC AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FOR $1,200,000
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby:
A. Approves a Measure M Funding Agreement between the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) and City of Manhattan Beach for $ 1,200,000 to fund the development of design plans and specifications and construction of the Manhattan Beach Boulevard at Pacific Avenue Improvements Project (“Project”).
B. Authorizes the City Manager and/or his or her designee to execute the Measure M Funding agreement and any subsequent administrative amendments.
C. Appropriates $1,200,000 in Measure M Funds for the Project.
D. Determines that the Project Qualifies for a Categorical Exemption Pursuant to Section 15301 Class 1 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to e xecute the funding Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
