A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH AND THE REGENTS
OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, ON BEHALF OF
THE UCLA CENTER FOR PREHOSPITAL CARE (“UCLA”)
FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN CONTINUING
EDUCATION AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SERVICES
(NURSE EDUCATOR)
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No.1 between the City of Manhattan Beach and The Reg ents of the University of California, on behalf of the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care (“UCLA”) effective July 1, 2023 , for Emergency Medical Technician Continuing Education and Quality Improvement Services under which UCLA is to provide continuing education programs and quality improvement services as described in the Agreement.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
