A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE CONNECT SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH
AND BIG BELLY SOLAR , INC . TO EXTEND AND EXPAND THE
LEASE OF SOLAR COMPACTING REFUSE CONTAINERS AND
RELATED SERVICES
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 2 to the Connect Services Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and Big Belly Solar, Inc. to (i) expand the lease to add 20 additional solar compacting refuse containers, (ii) extend the term of the Agreement to December 31, 2026, (iii) expand the scope of services provided by Big Belly Solar, and (iv) increase the maximum compensation to be paid to Big Belly Solar by $400,000 for services and equipment provided from June 6, 2023 to December 31, 2026.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby dire cts the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of the resolution.
