A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH AND MERCHANTS LANDSCAPING SERVICES FOR
CITYWIDE LANDSCAPING
RECITALS
A. On September 1, 2018 , the City of Manhattan Beach (“City”) and Merchant’s Landscape Services, Inc., a California corporation (“Consultant”) entered into a maintenance services agreement for the Consultant to provide landscape maintenance services (“Original Agreement”);
B. On July 1, 2019, July 1, 2020, September 25, 2020, May 17, 2021 and April 5, 2022, the City and Consultant entered into Amendment No. 1, Amendment No. 2, Amendment No. 3, Amendment No. 4, and Amendment No. 5, respectively, to the Original Agreement.
The Original Agreement as so amended is referred to herein as the “Agreement”.
C. The City now desires to amend the Agreement to add to the Scope of Services, extend the term and increase the compensation in the amount of $80,000.
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 6 (“Amendment”) to the Agreement between the City and Merchants Landscaping Services for citywide landscaping services extras outside the base agreement and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Amendment.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
