Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that I, Richard Montgomery, Mayor of the City of Manhattan Beach, California, on behalf of the City Council and the residents of Manhattan Beach, do hereby proclaim July 5, 2023, as
Salute to the Troops Day
in Manhattan Beach and urge all local residents, business owners, employers, veterans organizations, and other government leaders to support this effort to show our respect for the local men and women of the military, past and present.
