A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING A MENDMENT NO. 1 TO
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN
BEACH AND ATHENS SERVICES FOR STREET
SWEEPING SERVICES
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 1 between the City of Manhattan Beach and Arakelian Enterprises, Inc., dba Athens Services, dated August 1, 2023, for Street Sweeping services in the not to exceed amount of $219,014.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby appropriates $110,000 from various funds to temporarily insource pressure washing services.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certif y to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
