A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT TO A3 COMMUNICATIONS, I NC., DBA
BLUEVIOLET NETWORKS FOR THE CITYWIDE
SECURITY CAMERA PROJ ECT, PHASES 1 AND 2 ;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE
ADDITIONAL WORK, IF NECESSARY; AND
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE CITYWIDE SECURITY CA MERA
PROJECT, PHASES 1 AND 2
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and A3 Communications, Inc., dba BlueViolet Networks (“Contractor”), dated September 5 , 2023 , for the Citywide Security Camera Project, Phases 1 and 2 (“Project”), in the amount of $476,200.15.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs t he City Manager to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager and/or his or her designee to pay Contractor up to an additional $47,620.02 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
