A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL A CCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA NATURAL RESOURCES AGENCY
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
PROPOSITION 68, 2018 PARKS BOND ACT PER CAPITA
GRANT PROGRAM FUNDS FOR THE POLLIWOG PARK
PLAYGROUND REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COU NCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby accepts the Grant Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and the State of California Natural Resources Agency, Department of Parks and Recreation, dated December 29, 2022, for the Polliwog Park Playground Replacement project.
SECTION 2. The expenditure of reimbursable grant funds recommended by City Staff is consistent with the intent of the grant requirements and will enhance the facilities available at Polliwog Park.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby directs the City Manager or his designee to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
