A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
A3 COMMUNICATIONS, I NC., DBA BLUEVIOLET
NETWORKS FOR THE CITYWIDE SECURITY CA MERA
PROJECT, PHASES 1 AN D 2 ; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL WORK, IF
NECESSARY; AND APPROVING THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CITYWIDE SECURITY
CAMERA PROJECT, PHASES 1 AND 2
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and A3 Communications, Inc., dba BlueViolet Networks (“Contractor”), dated September 19, 2023, for the Citywide Security Camera Project, Phases 1 and 2 (“Project”), in the amount of $476,200.15.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs t he City Manager to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager and/or his or her designee to pay Contractor up to an additional $47,620.02 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
