RESOLUTION NO. 23-0151
A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING THE COYOTE MANAGEMENT AND
RESPONSE PLAN AND MAKING A DETERMINATION
FOR EXEMPTION UNDER CEQA
WHEREAS, at the April 4, 2023, meeting, the City Council reviewed a conceptual Coyote Management and Response Plan , and directed staff to return with the required environmental documentation.
WHEREAS, the draft Coyote Management and Response Plan and accompanying California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documentation was present ed to the City Council for approval on November 21, 2023 at a duly noticed public meeting.
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the adoption of the Coyote Management and Response Plan is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pur suant to Sections 15061(b)(3) and 15308 of the CEQA Guidelines (14 [California Code of Regulations] CCR §§15000 et seq.).
NOW THEREFORE, THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY
FINDS, RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby adopts the Coyote Management and Response Plan.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and the minutes of this meeting shall reflect the presentation of the Report.
