A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
ANEEN CONSTRUCTION , INC. FOR THE JOSLYN
CENTER CROSSWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT;
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAG ER TO APPROV E
ADDITIONAL WORK, IF NECESSARY
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and Aneen Construction , Inc . (“Contractor”), dated December 5, 2023, for the Joslyn Center Crosswalk Improvement Project (“Project”), in the amount of $961,140.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby auth orizes and directs the City Manager and/or his or her designee to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager to pay Contractor up to an additional $173,005 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
