RESOLUTION NO. 24-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY REGIONAL PARK AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT MEASURE A IN THE AMOUNT OF $400,000 FOR THE MARINE AVENUE PARK SYNTHETIC TURF REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND APPROVING THE GRANT AGREEMENT THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the Grant Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and the Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District Measure A dated December 18, 2023.
SECTION 2. The expenditure of reimbursable grant funds recommended by City Staff is consistent with the intent of the grant requirements and will enhance the facilities available at Marine Avenue Park.
SECTION 3. The Council hereby directs the City Manager or his designee to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
