A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AN AMENDED AND RESTATED
COMPENSATION PLAN FOR FULL -TIME
UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH
WHEREAS, the salary and benefits provisions for the unrepresented employees of the City of Manhattan Beach are provided for in the Compensation Plan for Full-Time Unrepresented Employees, originally approved by the City Council on March 15, 2022, which was subsequently amended and restated on November 15, 2022, October 3, 2023, and October 17, 2023;
WHEREAS, at the December 5, 2023 , City Council meeting, the City Council authorized changes to the compensation and benefits for the City’s fu ll-time unrepresented employees; and
WHEREAS, the attached Compensation Plan for Full -Time Unrepresented Employees is intended to capture the already approved compensation adjustments and be inclusive of all terms, conditions, and compensation for unrepresented em ployees, with the exception of policies that apply to all City employees, and therefore apply to unrepresented employees.
THEREFORE, THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The City Cou ncil hereby approves and adopts t he attached Compensation Plan for Full -Time Unrepresented Employees of the City of Manhattan Beach.
SECTION 2. The Human Resources Director or her designee shall administer the terms of the compensation plan on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
