A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL IN SUPPORT OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT QUALITY EDUCATION
PROTECTION MEASURE KNOWN AS PARCEL TAX
MEASURE MB APPEARING ON THE MARCH 5, 20 24,
STATEWIDE PRIMARY ELECTION
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby supports and endorses the ballot measure appearing on the March 5, 2024 Statewide Primary Election titled, “Manhattan Beach Unified School District Quality Education Protection Measure,” renewing a $225 parcel tax on Manhattan Beach residents to attract a nd retain high quality teachers, maintain manageable class sizes, and protect quality math, science, reading, writing and technology.
SECTION 2. The City Cler k shall certify to the passage a nd adoption of this resolution.
