A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH AND THE SOUTH BAY CITIES
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR HOME LESSNESS
CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby directs the City Manager to approve an Amendment No. 2 to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Manhattan Beach and the South Bay Cities Council of Governments dated April 1, 2024, for Homelessness Case Management Services. Amendment No. 2 would add $27,832 to the MOU Grant Funds from the South Bay Cities Council of Governments Local Solutions Fund.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City, in a form in substantial compliance with the draft Amendment No. 5 attached to the March 5, 2024 staff report.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passa ge and adoption of this resolution.
