RESOLUTION NO. 24-0022
A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
OPPENHEIMER NATIONAL FOR THE POLLIWOG PARK
FITNESS STATION REPLACEMENT PROJECT;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE
ADDITIONAL WORK, IF NECESSARY; AND APPROVING
THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and Oppenheimer National (“Contractor”), dated March 5, 20 24, for the Polliwog Park Fitness Station Replacement Project (“Project”), in the amount of $178,901.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs t he City Manager to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager and/or his or her designee to pay Contractor up to an additional $ 18,000 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
