RESOLUTION NO. 24-0087
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH , CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO SQUARE SIGNS LLC
DBA FRONT SIGNS FOR THE VEHICLE, PARKING AND
PEDESTRIAN SIGN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
(WAYFINDING PHASE I) ; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL WORK, IF
NECESSARY; AND APPROVING THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and Square Signs LLC dba Front Signs, dated July 16, 2024, for the Vehicle, Parking and Pedestrian Sign Improvements Project (“Project”), Project No. D-941, in the amount of $210,265.00.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager and/or his or her designee to pay Contractor up to an additional $31,540.00 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
