A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH , CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO DBX, INC. FOR THE
MANHATTAN BEACH BOULEVARD EASTBOUND LEFT -
TURN IMPROVEMENT AT AVIATION BOULEVARD
PROJECT; APPROVING THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO APPROV E ADDITIONAL WORK, IF
NECESSARY
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Manhattan Beach and DBX, Inc . (“Contractor”), dated August 20 , 202 4, for the Manhattan Beach Boulevard Eastbound Left -Turn Improvement at Aviation Boulevard Project (“Project”), in the amount of $543,606.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager and/or his or her designee to execute the Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager to pay Contractor up to an additional $ 135,901 for additional work, if necessary.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
