RESOLUTION NO. 24-0095
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH , CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH
TALYN MIRZAKHANIAN WHILE ACTING AS CITY
MANAGER
WHEREAS, City Manager Bruce Moe retired on August 18, 2024; and WHEREAS, Talyn Mirzakhanian has assumed the responsibilities of Acting City Manager, effective August 19, 2024.
THEREFORE, THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby designates Talyn Mirzakhanian as Acting City Manager, effective August 19, 2024.
SECTION 2 . The City Council fixes the salary for Ms. Mirzakhanian at $27,673 monthly for the duration of her acting assignment.
SECTION 3. The City Council directs the Human Resources Director to complete all administrative updates required by the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), including the Citywide Salary Schedule.
