# OTHER THOUGHTS REGARDING A NEW BUILDING: DATE
1 Let me frame my comments about the park by noting that I live directly across the street from Sand Dune Park and was a member of the city/neighborhood committee that developed the current usage structure for the park in 2002 – 2005. Current Parks and Rec staff may not have knowledge of the neighborhood issues related to the overuse of the sand dune portion of the park. At its peak in late 2001, Parks and Rec estimated that 250,000 people used the Sand Dune annually, with use concentrated on Saturday and Sunday. There are only 36 parking spaces on Bell between 33rd Street and Rosecrans Avenue. Prior to the fence and reservation system for the Dune, there was a constant flow of traffic through the neighborhood as people searched for parking. The roundabout at the intersection of Bell Avenue and 33rd Street was built because of the heavy volume of traffic. The history of trying to manage the issues related to Sand Dune Park is largely covered in Parks and Recreation Reports to City Council as follows: September 7, 2004. From Richard Gill, Director of Park and Recreation, to City Council. January 7, 2010. From Richard Gill, Director of Park and Recreation, to City Council.

January 19, 2010. From Richard Gill, Director of Park and Recreation, to City Council. The compromise Sand Dune use program – fencing and reservations – has been working well for the neighborhood community for the past 20 years. I’m concerned that creating organized events on the Sand Dune portion of the park will recreate the problems the neighborhood struggled with 20 years ago. We do support refurbishing and possibly expanding the tot lot playground area. This area sees good use by neighborhood families. 5/4/2023 11:55 AM

2 Staff office should be small and functional. Classroom should be relatively small and multi- purpose with emphasis of programming on outdoor activities. Bathrooms should be modernized.

3 Security Cameras 4/30/2023 4:41 PM
4 Update the building that is there. 4/30/2023 4:23 PM
5 Sand Dune park is designed for kids, and the playgound is for small kids. Let's keep it that way. If the bathrooms need to be replaced to make them ADA compliant, then so be it, but keep the replacement structure small and simple. And here's a suggestion: Make the mens and womens entrances both face north. Presently the women's entrance faces south and is hidden by a nearby fence. Parents want to be able to keep an eye on their little kids going into and out of those bathrooms.
4/30/2023 4:22 PM
6 Don’t do it. Horrible choice for the residents. Overloaded infrastructure already as is. 4/30/2023 2:26 PM 7 Please keep it simple. Our neighborhood is already crowded. 4/30/2023 12:12 PM 8 The City needs to have an active program of maintaining and upgrading City facilities. I think this is a great idea. I live on 34th street on top of the dine 4/30/2023 10:25 AM
9 Keep it small and simple as the neighbors built the park in 1964 4/29/2023 4:01 PM 10 smaller is better -- this is not a regional park 4/29/2023 11:37 AM 11 Building is great to store things but having programs and activities in the surround neighborhood/homes will make it difficult and congested for the current homeowners. There’s already so much traffic and litter from the sand dune and unfortunately a lot are not respectful that this is our home.
4/29/2023 9:08 AM
12 Not neded. Too small a park to add a Bldg. Not cost effective. 4/28/2023 4:07 PM 13 Use green building material. GO solar. Commission mural on outside - perhaps painted by kids.

Install security devices for after hours.
4/27/2023 5:14 PM
14 It should not be too large given limited size of park. Obviously needs to be secure when not in use.
4/27/2023 5:08 PM
15 Minimize size due to small available area. 4/27/2023 12:36 PM 16 Lack of parking prevents additional activities. The park needs ADU access from Bell to the top and vice versa. A gravel walking path through the grass area would allow walking without destroying grass.
4/25/2023 7:18 PM
17 Also need to replace UGLY chain link fence around the dune and along walkway between 29th Street Cul de Sac all the way to top of dune.
4/25/2023 12:35 PM
18 Don't need new building. Just maintain current one. Parking situation and current usage of Park does not support need for office space, classrooms, storage or more recreational programs 4/25/2023 9:29 AM
19 The footprint of the building should remain the same. And it should be a single story. 4/24/2023 8:57 PM 20 It should no overwhelm the park 4/24/2023 5:30 PM
21 It would be great if the bathrooms were updated! Other than that I would love to keep sand dune park the quiet neighborhood pocket that it is...I live at the top of the north stairs. We get enough traffic as it is!
4/24/2023 4:48 PM
22 Let's not turn this into a full service community park. It's a pocket park for kids and families in the immediate neighborhood.
4/24/2023 3:31 PM
23 Keep it small. This is a quiet kid friendly park that should stay as is 4/24/2023 1:19 PM 24 Just clean up what’s there. No need to spend money on expansion 4/24/2023 11:52 AM 25 It needs to be kept small and incidental to the park. Office space need not be large 4/24/2023 11:08 AM 26 We would love to see the playground upgraded. Volleyball or bocce ball would be great for adults
4/23/2023 12:35 PM
27 I love the enhancements. Would only be concerned about bathrooms being a target area for 4/23/2023 12:14 PM Sand Dune Park Survey

homelessness.
28 Basketball hoop 4/23/2023 11:59 AM
29 What ever improvements are made, I am not interested in making the building bigger to bring in more foot traffic.
4/22/2023 8:31 PM
30 Outdoors near the building: Community exercise equipment like pull-up bars, etc 4/22/2023 11:18 AM 31 Dog park. Let the hounds run free. 4/21/2023 9:27 PM 32 keep it the way it is now. 4/21/2023 7:28 PM
33 A community room similar to Jocelyn center for rent would be awesome. Or a gym facility for rent/use by personal trainers.
4/21/2023 5:48 PM
34 Do not need a new building at Sand Dune. 4/21/2023 5:40 PM 35 Dog run- or can we use the baseball fields and have Rec staff monitor or sign up for 15-30 min increments for dogs?
4/21/2023 5:19 PM
36 We need to keep the greenbelt what it is. A great piece of grass/land that offers a lot of flexibility.
4/20/2023 6:24 AM
37 Emergency medical equipment storage. Security cameras . 4/19/2023 9:28 PM 38 Just bathrooms. It's a park and a dune. 4/18/2023 5:07 PM 39 Have a free tier for residents; and a pay for use tier for non-residents (Same as Hermosa Beach, El Segundo, et al.)
4/17/2023 9:16 PM
40 We live at 569 33rd Street. The amount of people flooding to Sand Dune park on the weekends is once again starting to get out of hand. Coaching, kids and adults yelling, trash everywhere come Monday. The neighbors directly impacted by the crowds coming to Sand Dune don’t want any additional facilities, lighting, REC programs. Why not utilize Grand View and their fields? Ample parking and space. Like when AYSO paid for field use. Please…don’t bring more people and activities to Sand Dune. Those of us that live with it everyday want less activity, not more. And I can’t forget to mention to cigarette and pot smokers in the parking spaces on Blancr/Bell daily. Thank you!
4/17/2023 9:06 PM
41 A new building, without explicit use guidelines, is opposed due to the potential increase in visitors for classes, etc., other than current after school program. 4/17/2023 8:30 PM
42 smallest footprint possible to allow maximal park space 4/17/2023 3:42 PM 43 This park is surrounded by homes. Keep bathrooms and office to its current size. 4/17/2023 2:30 PM 44 keep in small and simple. 4/17/2023 8:11 AM
45 Sand Dune Park is much smaller than Live Oak park; so modernizing current facilities makes sense. But adding/enlarging facilities seems unnecessary. Joe Heumann 4/17/2023 7:35 AM
46 I support a building that is in scale and placement that is appropriate for the relatively small open space available.
4/16/2023 9:18 PM
47 I would like design to ensure the building will be safe and secure with lighting and security cameras for at night
4/16/2023 8:50 PM
48 Don’t build it 4/16/2023 7:18 PM
49 Minimal changes please, only those essential. No expanded footprint. 4/15/2023 9:23 PM 50 You need to make it more accessible. The handicap ramp from the top of the Sandune to the bottom ends with stairs. There is no easy way for someone with a wheelchair to make it from the same section of Manhattan Beach down that thing to the sanding park because the last 40 feet of the handicap trail our stairs. Please fix this so strollers in handicap folks can make it to the park safely.
4/15/2023 7:34 PM
51 Wonderful idea. It should allow for after school and summer camp programming. 4/15/2023 4:19 PM 52 Anything built should be minimal and multi-purpose. Preserve the outdoor space! 4/15/2023 4:00 PM Sand Dune Park Survey
5 / 16
53 Should be small and for local kids 4/15/2023 3:03 PM 54 Don’t make it a neighborhood nuisance. 4/15/2023 10:40 AM 55 It would be nice to have an awning for stroller parking that isn’t so far away from the playground.
12/2/2022 1:54 PM
56 I don't think a classroom-sized room is necessary, but I do remember a small indoor space that used to be available in that cinderblock building where we used to play carrom board 12/2/2022 11:44 AM
57 I don’t believe the area needs a new building. But it would be nice to see some funds invested in improving the current facility that is there.
11/30/2022 11:22 PM
58 A cement walking path in the grass area is sorely needed! 11/30/2022 2:11 PM 59 It needs to be small and fit near the bathrooms. Keep the green belt open for play and activities
11/30/2022 6:02 AM
60 keep whatever you put there as small as possible, leave the dune alone 11/29/2022 11:34 AM 61 Space is so limited at bottom of Sand Dune that any increased building footprint would be a mistake. Keep the area natural.
11/29/2022 11:14 AM
62 It would be nice to have covered space as well 11/29/2022 11:01 AM 63 No new building, modernize bathrooms 11/29/2022 10:58 AM 64 Should not be built on the cheap and should reflect Manhattan Beach standards 11/27/2022 5:42 PM 65 No new buildings. Sand Dune needs to remain an open Dune, a grassy play area in the flat on the east side and a postage stamp size natural area that is the only real natural area in the MB Park system. The park already gets much usage. Construction and more organized activities conflicts with the already limited natural area.
11/18/2022 9:37 PM
66 Cameras for times when staff isn't there to discourage graffiti & bullying 11/17/2022 9:33 PM 67 Keep it simple, not much room to build anything big. 11/17/2022 2:30 PM 68 more bathroom stalls for the ladies - one is not enough 11/14/2022 12:41 PM 69 take part of space and budgt to add dog run space 11/14/2022 12:38 PM 70 current bld is adequate 11/14/2022 12:37 PM
71 -maintain existing building location, minimal increase in building total square footage and no second story / -focus on outdoor activities for all ages —not in-classroom. Other sites already exist for indoor classroom plus no need to increase potential draw to already stressed neighborhood pocket park / -enhance existing park without expanding infrastructure/offerings in a manner that would dramatically increase public draw/monthly head count to point it would over stress parking / -no increased parking / -minor increase in picnic tables / this is a small neighborhood park, large groups can go to Pollywog or elsewhere 11/13/2022 10:09 AM
72 Any classroom should be multifunctional for all age groups 11/12/2022 6:20 PM 73 I would generally support more focus on green space and nature. Less focus on this park for too much development. Thanks.
11/12/2022 9:58 AM
74 Not sure I see a huge need. Current staffing in minimal. I’d want to see the overall vision for park first. My sense is it’s changed from a place for kids to gather after school to a place focused on using the Dune. Would like to see emphasis return to kids after school. 11/12/2022 9:41 AM
75 New updated toddler and kids playground 11/12/2022 9:25 AM 76 Community meeting space 11/10/2022 7:13 AM
77 Per no space for parking and lack of room for activities, no need for storage of recreational materials or office space. Needed: walking path through grass area 11/6/2022 9:39 AM
78 The park has become an attractive nuisance, don’t improve it and make it more of a nuisance. 11/6/2022 7:57 AM 79 new building not required!!! Money better spent on park paths. There is no ADA compliant path from sand section to the park.

1 The park is for day time use. Adding lighting to the stairs will encourage night time use of the park with associated noise issues.

2 no one plays grass volleyball in MB anywhere anytime 5/2/2023 2:08 PM 3 Keep open grass areas.Priority on maintaining trees if construction is done. Work around the trees.

5 Lighting on Bell between 35 and park not in park. 4/30/2023 4:23 PM 6 Please don't amp up the park. It is small and designed for daytime use. We don't need lighting on the stairs or paths. And please don't even consider building anything on the wonderful grass field south of the park. It is perfect for kids to run in, picnic in, kick a ball around, etc. 4/30/2023 4:22 PM
7 The playground is in dire need of updating. The quality is degrading and this is the closest and only walkable park for my family.

9 Don’t do it. Horrible choice for the residents. Overloaded infrastructure already as is. 4/30/2023 2:26 PM 10 Keep it simple. No Vollyball needed. 4/29/2023 4:01 PM 11 Keep it the small neighborhood park. The dune is already overused 4/29/2023 11:37 AM 12 As stated before, this is our home and having a park in the middle of neighborhoods are great but when it becomes an attraction, it is difficult for families to feel safe and allow kids to just play in the neighborhood. Again, it’s already congested with cars and having more activities to attract more people will only make it worse. Where will they park. It’s already bad enough that people leave dirty socks and used condoms on the streets,l, trash will be everywhere and the noise will be awful. Unfortunately people aren’t respectful that this is people’s home/neighbor not just a park for loud music.
4/29/2023 9:08 AM
13 Improved drinking fountains/filling stations 4/29/2023 9:02 AM 14 Keep the park low key. Its proximity to many homes means that crowds & active games will not fit with a quiet neighborood that home owners need. 4/28/2023 4:07 PM
15 More appealing/inviting picnic tables, benches and gathering areas suitable to our incomes and area.

16 drinking fountains 4/27/2023 5:14 PM
17 Should take into consideration that grassy area is somewhat damp certain months of the year, so it may require better drainage. It is nice and shady. 4/27/2023 5:08 PM
18 The grass cannot support volleyball courts. A new playground with new equipment is an absolute must.
4/25/2023 7:18 PM
19 Path improvements - Currently no ADA accesss from East A decomposed granit path though grassy area would reduce wear and tear. Also a volley ball court should be sand not grass 4/25/2023 9:29 AM
20 I would love to get rid of the ugly chain link fence s above the sand dune area. Let’s replace them with something beautiful!!! They are so tacky and uninviting 4/25/2023 8:44 AM
21 This is a densely populated RESIDENTIAL neighborhood. Why would you light the dune? We don’t want people there at night nor do we want to scare away the wildlife that lives there. I just saw an owl fly over the dune when I was walking my dog at 8pm. 4/24/2023 8:57 PM
22 We do not need more lighting! 4/24/2023 4:48 PM
23 There are plenty of volleyball courts in MB. Lighting not necessary as it will encourage late night use keep park small and neighborly
4/24/2023 1:19 PM
24 The space should remain as intended, a quiet, residential, neighborhood environmentally friendly space
4/24/2023 11:52 AM
25 The park is not big enough to add volleyball courts! Absolutely NO outdoor lighting! 4/24/2023 11:08 AM 26 Basketball court would be cool 4/23/2023 12:16 PM
27 Basketball hoop 4/23/2023 11:59 AM
28 I'm not interested in creating a space for additional activities. I'm concerned about noise levels. 4/22/2023 8:31 PM 29 A dog park. 4/21/2023 9:27 PM
30 Perfect as is - but volleyball courts would be fine 4/21/2023 5:40 PM 31 Dog run area 4/21/2023 5:19 PM
32 The beach has plenty of volleyball courts. We do not need one at a sand dune. There is too much traffic along Bell
4/20/2023 6:24 AM
33 Lessen Adult gear and strongly for children as we neighbors built it for them 4/19/2023 9:28 PM 34 Why put lights on Sand Dune? The hours of operation don't go beyond sunset, do they? 4/18/2023 5:07 PM 35 This is a quiet neighborhood park. We already have enough traffic coming through as it is. We don’t need or want additional attractions.

dips stations (similar to what can be found at the bottom of Bruce's Beach park on the strand) 37 Please—no more amenities. Put them at the beach! Or utilize new fields and equipment at Grand View!
4/17/2023 9:06 PM
38 The grass at Sand Dune is in a constant state of disrepair. If it becomes a "volleyball court" it will kill the grass, eliminating its use for other activities. It will also become a muddy mess after rains as the drainage in that area is terrible.
4/17/2023 8:30 PM
39 We can’t keep grass nice as it is. Grass volleyball courts? 4/17/2023 8:25 PM 40 Prefer as much open natural space as possible 4/17/2023 3:42 PM 41 I strongly oppose development that would change the character of the park's use and things like picnic tables and volleyball courts would attract large adult group gatherings which would bring more traffic, noise, trash and possibly alcohol and is not consistent with the park's location in a residential pocket.
4/16/2023 8:50 PM
42 Leave well enough alone 4/16/2023 7:18 PM
43 Minimal changes preferred. Do not add amenities that would attract more park users. 4/15/2023 9:23 PM 44 Lights on sand dune should be low to illuminate the ground. No big stadium floodlights, please! Seating and dining space should be visually fun and varied. Any gazebos should be convertible and multi-purpose. Grass volleyball court setup should be temporary and allow for conversion of the greenbelt space to other activities.
4/15/2023 4:00 PM
45 Should be for local kids, not a regional draw again 4/15/2023 3:03 PM 46 Close at dark. No lights 4/15/2023 10:40 AM
47 Large dog area 12/2/2022 4:37 PM
48 I've lived adjacent to Sand Dune Park for 50+ years, and love the small-park feel of it. With very little parking (besides neighborhood parking which is sketchy or parking on Bell), the park doesn't lend itself well to large crowds. I like the idea of grass volleyball courts, but where would they fit ... on the greenbelt? I love that greenbelt and it's a great place for kids to play freely. Net posts may get in the way of a good game of flag football or frisbee. 12/2/2022 11:44 AM
49 Would love to see chain link fencing at top of Sand Dune Park replaces with artistic fencing.

My understanding is the city has an art budget that could fund this. 11/30/2022 9:09 AM
50 Too much traffic, not enough space to handle additional people 11/30/2022 6:02 AM 51 leave the dune alone 11/29/2022 11:34 AM
52 Volleyball courts would take open space now used for endless different activities (particularly for kids and families) and turn it into single-use space enjoyed by fewer people. 11/29/2022 11:14 AM
53 Would like to deter nighttime visits by unauthorized visitors 11/29/2022 11:12 AM 54 Leave park as it is. New trees on hillside area look great! 11/29/2022 10:58 AM 55 Amenities should be consistent with a neighborhood park, particularly reflecting the preferences of the closest adjacent neighbors. Should be a welcoming, gathering place for the neighborhood (and kids) without worry of appropriation of the space by birders or workout enthusiasts.

56 The park is very small and already gets much usage. What remains of a natural area needs to be look eft undisturbed. Somewhere in the MB park system someone should be able to hope for solitude.
11/18/2022 9:37 PM
57 Recommend extending the smooth cement path to the bottom to allow for strollers.

Recommend coordinating with the Arts Funding to upgrade the fencing around the top and adjacent to the Dune to reflect a nature motif or other visual arts integrated into the fencing. 11/16/2022 2:43 PM
58 dog run/park 11/14/2022 12:38 PM
59 -valley ball courts should be sand or artificial turf / -scale of improvements should be consistent with small neighborhood pocket park
11/13/2022 10:09 AM
60 Grass courts will be difficult to maintain 11/12/2022 6:20 PM Sand Dune Park Survey

61 There would be too much light pollution if lights were implemented at the sand dune. 11/12/2022 2:00 PM 62 Separate flight of stairs on South End for physical training. 11/12/2022 11:03 AM 63 Support more natural landscape. Less structure. 11/12/2022 9:58 AM 64 I opposed volleyball courts because it would end up being adult centric and I believe it should be kid centric - and “unstructured” - it’s one place that kids could have unguided by adults experience. This is how I’d prefer the park to develop. 11/12/2022 9:41 AM
65 Take down the high fencing add playground equipment for slightly older kids; provide access to Grand View area; outside community gathering area (see Gould Park or Community Garden) 11/10/2022 7:13 AM
66 Would love to see a pathway through the grassy area. Kids use this route to school in the morning but the grass is always sober and muddy. A pathway along the side would be really helpful.
11/9/2022 1:45 PM
67 No space to support activities in grass/ many people walk through grass area with dogs. 11/6/2022 9:39 AM 68 Unclear where grass volleyball courts would be placed? 11/6/2022 7:59 AM 69 Volleyball court should be sand rather than high maintenance grass 11/5/2022 10:47 AM 70 Dog Run / Gated Park Area for Dogs 11/2/2022 9:46 PM 71 park equipment ought to accommodate older kids not just tots 11/2/2022 8:27 PM Sand Dune Park Survey

SAND DUNE PARK:
1 Daily Qi Gong Practice in park 4/30/2023 4:41 PM
2 Add a plank or mural with what migratory birds to look for in the park and when they are usually around.
4/30/2023 4:23 PM
3 More toddler and young kids activities please 4/30/2023 3:17 PM 4 Don’t do it. Horrible choice for the residents. Overloaded infrastructure already as is. I suggest you rent a home in the area and try to maintain any semblance of sanity and parking before any decisions are made
4/30/2023 2:26 PM
5 K-5 Programms Only 4/29/2023 4:01 PM
6 I think programs in general are great. However, this is a neighborhood that is already dense with very little parking. Having all of these programs will only make it more difficult for homeowners to not get frustrated with lack of park and congestion. Sometimes there are cars lined up waiting for people to leave so they can park. I’ve gotten yelled at because I switched my cars out to park in front of my home and they were waiting for a spot. We are paying for all of this and yet we are having to deal with people yelling at us for parking spots. This is a small cozy neighborhood with very little parking, please don’t make it worse. 4/29/2023 9:08 AM
7 keep the park a small neighborhood park 4/29/2023 9:02 AM 8 The parking issue prevents the kind of programming you have suggested. Parking only occurs in the neighborhood and along north Bell. Because small children use the park the most, ADU (stroller) access from the top should occur and better play equipment should be an absolute must.
4/25/2023 7:18 PM
9 Better management and use of the dune focused for MB residents 4/25/2023 9:29 AM 10 Not every square inch of Manhattan Beach has to be developed. 4/24/2023 8:57 PM 11 Sand dune park does not need to be live oak park or pollywog. It's meant to be a quiet neighborhood park.
4/24/2023 4:48 PM
12 None. Improvements made are enough. Not everything had to be programmed. And there are plenty of other adult and teen recreation venues
4/24/2023 1:19 PM
13 This was never meant to be an entertainment venue. It’s a quiet neighborhood space 4/24/2023 11:52 AM 14 As long as ALL programming is fully supervised, I'm good. WE finally have the use of the park at a reasonable flow. Do NOT attract more people except kids' afterschool which is needed. 4/24/2023 11:08 AM
15 Would love to see volleyball, paddle tennis or bocce ball would be amazing for adults! 4/23/2023 12:35 PM 16 Programming & play for younger kids would be huge (toddler & elementary) as they use Sand Dune already so much!
4/23/2023 12:34 PM
17 A program that allows dogs to run and play together, like a dog park. 4/21/2023 9:27 PM 18 Leave as is 4/21/2023 5:40 PM
19 Dog run 4/21/2023 5:19 PM
20 none - please do not spoil the quiet, family atmosphere. there are already too many noisy people coming here
4/20/2023 10:42 AM
21 Let the children play freely with watchful nannies and guards 4/19/2023 9:28 PM 22 the skatepark on Marine is such a positive place for kids and adults of all ages to come together for healthy recreation. I'd like to see more options for residents on the west side of Sepulveda
4/17/2023 9:16 PM
23 See previous comments 4/17/2023 9:06 PM
24 I would only support increased programming if the current limitations on number of visitors at a time is maintained.
4/17/2023 8:30 PM
25 Please don't bring programming which will overwhelm this small neighborhood park. Please keep the focus on children's programming.

Sand Dune Park Survey
16 / 16
26 None other than nature related 4/16/2023 7:18 PM
27 Revitalization (and low lighting of the pathways on the hill with native plantings that encourage native birdlife would be great.
4/15/2023 4:00 PM
28 Don’t make it a regional draw 4/15/2023 3:03 PM
29 Don’t make it a noise source. 4/15/2023 10:40 AM
30 I don't know if teens would take advantage of rec programs as Sand Dune isn't close to MBMS or Costa.
12/2/2022 11:44 AM
31 leave the dune alone 11/29/2022 11:34 AM
32 Need to define "recreation programs" in interpreting the responses above. Workouts should not be programmed or encouraged. It is a neighborhood park, not a workout facility. Also, this survey is too short. There needed to be questions regarding the use of the fenced dune. E.g., the fence is ugly, does not need to be as high or chain-link or tan. The number of pylons on the dune are unnecessary. The entrance to the fenced portion s/b on the north side of the park.

There should be greenery to obscure the fence and dune from the larger park. 11/27/2022 5:42 PM
33 The park already gets much usage. No structured activities are needed for people to enjoy the park.
11/18/2022 9:37 PM
34 Adult Outdoor rec for all abilities, not boot campy & inclusive of seniors without segregating them
11/17/2022 9:33 PM
35 -draw from local residents as volunteer docents - many have relevant knowledge and time to give back
11/13/2022 10:09 AM
36 Community involvement for maintenance, trash pick up etc 11/12/2022 6:20 PM 37 The sand dune is already popular for its size to handle more activities. Also parking is an issue on crowded days and adding more programs will increase this issue. 11/12/2022 2:00 PM
38 With the large school project next door, this park should be less developed. More natural landscape.
11/12/2022 9:58 AM
39 Some basic programmed stuff for younger kids but I really think we tend to overdo this. Kids need time and place to not be directed by adults.
11/12/2022 9:41 AM
40 This is a neighborhood park. Treat it like one. 11/10/2022 7:13 AM 41 Again, lack of space, sensitive grass areas prevent activities in grass 11/6/2022 9:39 AM 42 Infant / Toddler Music Classes (BMusic is the best!) 11/2/2022 9:46 PM 43 This park is actually small, no room for extra buildings and groups 11/2/2022 8:27 PM
