Dear Esteemed City Council, Cultural Arts Commission, City Staff, and Advisors: 11/15/2024 It has been my honor and privilege to serve the City of Manhattan Beach as Cultural Arts Commissioner since June of 2023. I've truly enjoyed every moment of service to our city. As you may know, I'll be sworn in to the MBUSD School Board on December 18. For this reason, I regret the need to abbreviate my commission term. Though two commission meetings remain until my effective date as Trustee, I am only able to attend the one on Monday, November 18th, so it will be my last.
It has been a pleasure to serve alongside each and every one of my fellow commissioners and I have so appreciated the hard work and professionalism of every staff member I've come into contact with. Though I will miss my days on the commission, I know that advice to council about public art in our city will be left in the most capable of hands, thanks to the very qualified, considerate, and dedicated team that remains.
Please don't hesitate to be in future contact about any of the ways our city and our schools might advance our productive partnership via the arts.
