A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING A USE AND MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN
BEACH AND LOS ANGELES COUNTY FOR THE 28 TH
STREET STORMWATER INFILTRATION PROJECT
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the Use and Maintenance Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and Los Angeles County that authorizes the City to construct a diversion structure with slide gate and connect it to an existing County storm drain at 28th Street (BI-0286).
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement and any subsequent administrative amendments on behalf of the City, subject to review and approval of the City Attorney.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to carry out City maintenance responsibilities as identified within the Agreement.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
