Micreces, Mares Older Americans Month, a time for as to recognize and honor the Cit of Manhattan Beach's older adults and their immense influence on every facet of American societ; and
Wheres, the 2025 theme for Older Americans Month, "Flip the Script on Aging, " focuses on transforming how society percenes, talks about, and approaches aging; and Wherers. through their wealth of lite esperience and wisdom, older adults guide our rounger generations and cant forward abundant cultural and lustoncal knowledge; and Wherers, older Americans improre our communities drough intergenerational relationships, communițy service, civic engagement, and man other activities; and Wheres, communities benelit when people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds have the opportunit to participate and lie independent; and
Wheres. the City of Manhattan Beach must ensure that older Americans have the resources and support needed to stay involved in their commumities- rellecting out commitment to inclusivity and connectedness.
Now, Therefore. Be I Reseteed that I, Amy Thomas Howorth, Mayor of the City of Manhattan Beach, California, on behalf ofthe City Council and the residents of Manhattan Beach, do hereby proclam the month of Mat 2025 as
