Wherers, public servants serve American people every dar at the federal, state, count, and cit lerels. Ther do the work that keeps our nation moving forward; and public emplorees take not out jobs, but solemn oaths to perform their jobs to the Whereres best of their abilities; and
mant public servants, including militart personnel, police ollicers, tielighters, Micreas, border control oflicers, embasst emplorees, healthcare professionals and others, risk their lives each dar in service to the people of the United States and around the world: and
Wherers, career ciril servants cant out the most timdamental purpose of government - to ensure public salețt and represent the public interest in addressing social, economic and political challenges; and
Wherers, without these public servants at erer lerel, continuits would be impossible in a democract that regularly changes its leaders and elected officials.
Now, Therefore Be I Rescleed hat I, Amy Thomas Hovorh, Maror of the Cis of Manhattan Beach, California, on behalf of the City Council and the residents of Manhattan Beach, do hereby proclaim the week of Mar 1, 2025, through Mar 10, 2025 as Public Service Recognition Week:
