A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH AND MCGOWAN
CONSULTING, LLC FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING
SERVICES
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach and McGowan Consulting, LLC, dated the date this Agreement is executed by the City Manager, for environmental consulting services pertaining to the Los Angeles Regional Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System NP DES Permit (“MS4 Permit”), for fiscal years 2025-2026 through 2029-2030, in the amount of $528,700.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement, and further authorizes the City Manager and/or her designee to pay Consultant up to an additional $52,870 for unforeseen or as -needed services, if necessary, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $581,570.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby directs the City Manager to insert the effective date into the Agreement where indicated.
SECTION 4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
