Wheretes. peace is the goal for every humanitarian in the world. World leaders, activists, and organizations fiom different nations advocate for the cause of peace and putting an end to conflicts; and
Whereas International Peace Month began in August of 1926. This month was created to remember the mistakes and the horrors that arose fiom the conflicts of World War 1, and hopefully learn fiom the mistakes that were made; and Mierers, this month is dedicated to remembering the many tragic mistakes made during World Ward, wuch led to the death of more than 16 million soldiers and civilians. The conflicts and horrors of Work War I must be remembered to educate new generations about the devastation and destruction, in the hope that we can learn the necessary lessons so that these mistakes of the past are not repeated; and Wherers. in August of 1962, thirty countries assembled for the Fifth International Democratic Peace Conference.
