AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH AND BUTIER ENGINEERING, INC.
This First Amendment (“Amendment No. 1”) to that ce rtain agreement by and between the City of Manhattan Beach, a California m unicipal corporation (“City”) and Butier Engineering, Inc., a California corporat ion (“Consultant”) (collectively, the “Parties”) is hereby entered into as of ______________ (“Effective Date”).
RECITALS
A. On November 7, 2024, the City and Consultant ent ered into an agreement for professional services for the Consult ant to provide construction management and inspection services for Voorhees Sew er Lift Station Improvement Project (“Original Agreement”).
B. The Parties now desire to amend the Agreement to increase the Maximum Compensation by $250,070 for a new Maximum Compensation of $798,210, and modify the Scope of Services and Approved Fee Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the Parties’ pe rformance of the promises, covenants, and conditions stated herein, the Parties hereby agree as follows:
Section 1. Section 3.A of the Agreement is hereby a mended to increase the Maximum Compensation amount by $250,070, for a new Maximum Compensation of $798,210.
Section 2. Exhibit A “Scope of Services” of the Agr eement is hereby amended by the Exhibit A-1 attached to this Amendment No. 1.
Section 3. Exhibit B “Approved Fee Schedule” of the Agreement is hereby amended by the Exhibit B-1 attached to this Amendment No. 1.
Section 4. Except as specifically amended by this A mendment No. 1, all other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. [SIGNATURE PAGE FOLLOWS]

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Butier Engineering (Butier), Inc. to provide additi onal construction management and inspection services for the Voorhees Sewer Lift Station Improvements Project.
The information contained herein outlines the scope of Butier’s services for the project to include:
Task Amendment No. 1 – Additional Construction Mana gement and Inspection Services
Butier to provide additional construction managemen t services including review submittals, review of RFIs, review of change order requests, coordination, attending meetings, review of schedule, document co ntrol using online construction management software, and other construction management support.
Butier to provide additional inspection services in cluding as-needed deputy inspections and material testing.
