A RESOLUTION OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY
COUNCIL A PPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANHATTAN
BEACH AND BUTIER ENGIN EERING, INC . FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE VOORHEES
SEWER LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
THE MANHATTAN BEACH CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between the City of Manhattan Beach (“City”) and Butier Engineering, Inc., dated November 7, 2024, for professional services for the Voorhees Sewer Lift Station Improvements Project (“Voorhees Project”) in the amount of $250,070, for a new Maximum Compensation of $798,210.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby reappropriates $250,070 from within the Sewer Fund to fund the Voorhees Project.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager, and/or his or her designee, to execute the A mendment to the Agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
