Whereas the 2026 theme for Older Americans Month, "Champion Your Health," focuses on prevention, wellness, and personal responsibility to support healthr aging and independence; and
Mherenes, through their wealth of lite experience and wisdom, older adults guide our rounger generations and carry forward abundant cultural and historical knowledge; and Wherers. okler Americans improre ou communities through intergenerational relationships, community service, circ engagement, and mant other activities; and Wherers. commumities benelit when people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds have the opportmițy to participate and live independentle; and
Mherers, the Cüy of Manhattan Beach must ensure that older Americans have the resources and support needed to star involed in their communities - reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and connectedness.
