(Whereas, in 1969, International Institute of Municipal Clerks established Professional * Municipal Clerks Week; and
(Whereas, the Olice of the Protessional Municipal Clerk, a time honored and vital part of local goremment evsts throughout the work; and
(Wherei. the office of the Professional Municipal Clerk is the oldest among public servants; and
(Whereas, the Office of the Protessional Municipal Clerk provides the protessional link between the citizens, the local gorerning bodies and agencies of goremment at other levels; and
(Wherers. Professional Municipal Clerks have pledged to be ever mindlul of their neutrality and impartialiț, rendering equal service to all; and
Wherers, the Professional Municipal Clerk serres as the information center on fimctions of local gorernment and communit; and
(Merenes, Professional Municipal Clerks continually strive to improre the administration of the allairs of the Olice of the Professional Municipal Clerk through participation in education programs, seminars, vorkshops and the annual meetings of their state, counts and international prolessional organizations; and (Wherers. it is most appropriate that we recognize the accomplishments of the Olice of the Prolessional Municipal Clerk.
